Suspect in Custody for Robbery this morning.
On January 3, at 7:37 a.m., police responded to Wyse Road Esso, 116 Wyse Road inDartmouth for a report of a robbery which had just occurred. A male suspect walked in produced a knife and demanded cash from the employee. A quantity of cash was taken and suspect fled on foot.
East units responded along with a K-9 unit and flooded the area. A 24-year-old man was subsequently located and arrested a short distance away. The cash and weapon have been recovered. The accused will appear in court on Monday to face charges of Robbery, Weapons Dangerous and Resist Arrest.
