At approximately 7 pm on August 25th 2016 Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at the Scotia Bank on Lacewood Drive in Halifax. Two suspects entered the bank and produced a weapon and demanded cash from staff. The received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank. The area was checked by K9 and ERT members but the suspects could not be located. Members of the Integrated General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section are now on scene assisting in the investigation. There were no injuries during the robbery.
