Robbery GO#16-44909 - East Division

At 9:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery that had occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the area of Crystal and Leaman Drive in Dartmouth. The victim, a 25-year-old man from Dartmouth, was walking home from work when he was approached by three men. One of the men produced a knife and held it in a threatening manner as he and the two other men searched the victim. The men stole the victim's sneakers and fled the area on foot. The area was searched by police but the suspects were not located. The suspects are described as follows: Male #1 - black man approximately 25-30 years of age, 5'5" with a thin build wearing a full length parka with a hood up; Male #2 - black man approximately 25-30 years of age, 5'11" with a thin build wearing a burgundy or red spring jacket with the hood up; Male #3 - black man approximately 5'11" with a thin build wearing a darker jacket with the hood up. The investigation is continuing and will be conducted by members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
