At approximately 9:03 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Smoke Shop located at 2651 Windsor Street in Halifax. On arrival it was learned that a man had entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. There were no injuries to the clerk and the suspect fled the area on foot with an amount of cash. The suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old white man, 5'10 - 6ft tall, thin build, wearing faded blue jeans, 3/4 quarter length black parka, a black toque with a white stripe. HRP patrol division members and Quick Response Unit members were unable to locate the male in the area. The matter is currently being investigated by members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
