Robbery GO#19-7101

At 6:40 p.m. on January 14, police responded to the McDonalds located on Spring Garden Road in Halifax to a report of a street level robbery. A 40-year-old woman reported having a verbal dispute with four to five youths while inside the restaurant. Once outside the restaurant, the victim reported being assaulted by at least three of the female suspects. The victim reported being spit on and punched, causing her to fall to the ground. 

The suspects stole personal items from the victims purse. The victim was uninjured and did not seek medical attention. 

The suspects were observed fleeing westbound on Spring Garden Road towards South Park Street. The three female suspects are described as follows:

1) White female under 18 years of age, approximately 5’2” in height, average build, facial piercing, wearing a black coat with a hood.

2) Black female under 18 years of age, approximately 5’6” in height heavy set.

3) Black female, lighter complexion, approximately 5’1” in height, smaller build, wearing a red coat.

This incident remains under investigation.
