Monday, Aug. 24, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work will begin tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug. 25), to extend the natural gas main on Robie Street, between Cherry and Binney streets.

At least two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times. No work will take place during the morning and evening rush hours (7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

The pipe installation and temporary restoration is expected to take approximately 10 days.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
