Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that on Sunday, Sept. 20 crews will be installing new water and sewer services on Sackville Drive between Skyridge and Hillcrest avenues.
Crews are expected to be on site from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway and the northwest side of the sidewalk will be closed in the construction area. Traffic control personnel will be present to assist pedestrians in crossing the street.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this installation work may cause.
