The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that part of Sackville Street will be closed for the next week to facilitate traffic signal work at Sackville and Hollis streets.
The weekday closure between Hollis and Bedford Row will begin tomorrow morning and finish on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Crews will be on site each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Access to Bedford Row will be provided via traffic control personnel from Lower Water Street.
It should be noted there may be times when the intersection at Sackville and Hollis is not accessible for emergency services.
Motorists are reminded the road will reopen each evening at 4 p.m.
