Halifax Regional Police is currently at the scene of a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred this afternoon in Dartmouth.
At 2:10 p.m., officers responded to Maynard Street to a report of a collision between a woman and a garbage truck. The 83-year-old woman, who was found underneath the truck, was transported to hospital by EHS where she remains in critical condition.
Maynard Street, between Portland and Summit Streets, remains closed while the investigation is ongoing. No charges have been laid at this time.
