On July 20 at 8:40 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report that a vehicle had struck the guard rail at the end of North West Arm Drive at Old Sambro Road in Halifax and that the vehicle had left the scene. Police located the vehicle nearby and arrested the adult male driver who was subsequently charged with impaired driving, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to obey traffic signs and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
The driver was released from custody on a Promise to Appear to attend court at a later date.
