Monday, June 29, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Dexter Construction is continuing to work on behalf of Dalhousie University this week to install underground infrastructure between the school’s Carleton and Sexton campuses.
Crews are now working on South Park Street between Brenton Place and University Avenue. There will be an altered centreline in place while this work is underway and some parking in the area will be restricted. This stage of work is expected to take approximately two weeks.
The project will follow the general route of College Street, Summer Street, University Avenue, South Park Street and Clyde Street, and then crossing Queen Street to the Sexton Campus. The municipality will continue to post updates on traffic conditions as the work progresses.
Motorists should expect delays while this work is underway and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Dalhousie University and the municipality regret any inconvenience this work may cause.
