Stabbing-East Division

On July 8 at 4:51 p.m.Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 0-100 block of Primrose Street in Dartmouth.  A call came into 9-1-1 asking for assistance for an 18-year-old man who appeared to be stabbed.  Once emergency services arrived they found an 18-year-old man who had been stabbed.  He was transported by EHS to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  Police later arrested two 17-year-old youths at an address on Primrose Street in Dartmouth.

Both 17-year-olds were held in custody overnight. They will appear in Halifax Provincial Youth Court on July 9. One youth is facing charges of aggravated assault,  assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous and three counts of breaching previously imposed court orders. The other youth is facing charges of assault and three counts of breaching previously imposed court orders.
