Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that beginning tomorrow, Sept. 2, Summer Street in Halifax will be closed to southbound traffic between College Street and University Avenue as crews working on behalf of Dalhousie University complete curb and asphalt reinstatement in the area.
The closure will be in place weekdays until Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The street will reopen in the evenings and on the weekend.
Crews will continue to accommodate access for local traffic only. The northbound side of Summer Street will remain open to traffic and pedestrians will still be able to walk through the area. The municipality and the university regret any inconvenience this work may cause.
