At approximately 12:30 am Halifax Regional Police responded to a report from citizen of possible gun shots in the area of Green Village Lane in Dartmouth. A caller to HRP indicated that she had heard a female screaming , then a gun shot, then the female screamed again and a second gunshot. The caller believed that the shots had come from the area to the South of the end of Green Village Lane. Over the next several hours, Halifax Regional Police pa...trol members, assisted by HRP Emergency Response Team members and an RCMP Police Service Dog team extensively searched the area but were unable to locate any evidence to indicate that shots had been fired in the area. A daylight search of the area is planned.
