Just after 6:30 pm October 11 Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of Windmill Road and Albro Lake Road to speak to a 10 year old boy about an incident he had told his mother. The boy stated he was walking home on Windmill Road near Albro Lake Road when a person in a black 4x4 truck stopped and asked him if he would help him look for his dog then he would give him a treat. The windows may have been tinted as he could not see the driver as the window was only down a few inches. Officers checked the area and no vehicle could be located. File is under investigation.
