Police have charged a man following a threats complaint that occurred earlier this morning in Dartmouth.
At 10:34 a.m., officers responded to Dartmouth High at 95 Victoria Road after a report was made to police about a man who stated he was going to attend the school with a gun. The school entered a temporary “Hold and Secure” status while police attempted to locate the man.
An 18-year-old Dartmouth man was later located by police on Main Street and taken into custody without incident. He faces charges of public mischief and is expected to appear in Dartmouth Provincial court at a later date.
