Three men face charges in connection with a theft from a business in Dartmouth Crossing.
Yesterday afternoon, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section’s Break and Enter Unit were conducting surveillance of a business in Dartmouth Crossing in connection with an ongoing investigation. They observed a pick-up truck being loaded with items and leaving the area. Investigators followed the vehicle to Eastern Passage where two men aged 33 and 34 were arrested without incident at 6:15 p.m. A quantity of stolen items was also recovered at the time of the arrest. Officers returned to the business where a 28-year-old man was arrested at 7:26 p.m.
The first two men each face charges of theft over $5,000 and possession of stolen property over $5,000. The third man faces a charge of theft over $5,000. All three men are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court next month.
