Police are assisting Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency with a gas leak in the area of Pinecrest Drive and Jackson Road in Dartmouth.
Evacuations are underway in the following areas: Leaman Drive, west to Pinecrest Drive. Albro Lake Road, north to Crystal Drive.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
