Friday, March 18, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents there may be some minor traffic delays in north-end Halifax this Sunday, March 20, during the Palm Sunday procession.

The event will begin at about 9:45 a.m. outside St. George’s Church on Brunswick Street. The procession will head north on Brunswick, west on Uniacke Street, south on Gottingen Street, east on Cornwallis Street, and back along Brunswick, returning to the church by about 10:30 a.m.

Halifax Regional Police will be on hand to assist with traffic control during the event. Motorists should expect some minor traffic delays during that time and are advised to find other routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience these delays may cause.
