Two men face charges after drug searches last night in Halifax.

Drug Charges

On March 5, 2013, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted four separate searches in residences in the 0-100 block of Connors Lane, 5200 block of Richmond Street, 2100 block of Harvard Street and 3400 block of Barrington Street. Officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, cannabis resin, drug paraphernalia and cash during the searches. Two men were arrested without incident.

A thirty-seven-year-old man and a thirty-five-year-old man, both of Halifax, are each charged with two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of drugs. Both men were released from custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on April 16.
