Two men and one women face charges after drug searches last night in Halifax

At approximately 5 p.m. on August 4, investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit with the assistance of members of the Quick Response Unit arrested two men and a woman in the area of Evans Ave and Ford St in Halifax. Subsequent to the arrests, these teams executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant in the 0-100 block of Evans Ave in Halifax. This search resulted in ...the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, marihuana, prescription drugs, cash and other drug paraphernalia. A 32 year old man from Halifax, a 25 year old man from Halifax and a 23 year old woman from Halifax will all appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Friday August 5, each charged with 3 counts of trafficking in narcotic contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
