On September 28, 2013 at 2:15 a.m., a 28-year-old Bedford man reported being assaulted along a walkway between Dooly's billard hall and Union street. The attackers were described as white males in their early 20’s. One male mentioned having a knife. The victim did not know his attackers. The victim sustained minor injuries from the assault and was treated by EHS and released at the scene. Patrol officers arrested two 23-year-old Bedford men without incident this evening and charged them with assault causing bodily harm and breach of a recognizance. They are being held in police custody and will appear in court in the morning.
