A man who was reported missing to police on April 25 has been located deceased.
Forty-year-old Troy Richter was last seen on April 23 at approximately 4:30 p.m. walking in the area of Rocky Lake Drive in Bedford. At 6:30 a.m. on Sunday April 30, police were called to the area of Shore Drive and Hatchery Lane in Bedford to a report of a deceased man found on the shoreline. An autopsy later confirmed this to be Mr. Richter. Foul play is not suspected.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help locating a missing Bedford man.
Forty-year-old Troy Richter was last seen on April 23 at approximately 4:30 p.m. walking in the area of Rocky Lake Drive in Bedford. He was reported missing on April 25.
Troy is described as a white man, approximately 5’7”, medium build, with chin length brown hair and hazel eyes. There is no clothing description.
There is no information to suggest that Troy has met with foul play, however, police are concerned for his well-being. Officers request that Troy or anyone with information on his whereabouts calls police at 902-490-5020.
