On May 20 at 7:45 p.m. members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to the Rotary Esso at 7151 Chebucto Rd when a report was received that staff believed that the suspect responsible for Monday night’s robbery had returned to the store.
Officers arrived quickly on scene and took a 34-year-old man from the Halifax area into custody without incident. The man was positively identified as the party responsible for the May 19 robbery of the Esso station.
The suspect remains in police custody at this time, he will be appearing in Halifax Provincial Court this morning and will be facing robbery charges.
