Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle/jogger collision that occurred this morning in Halifax.
At 9:06 a.m., police responded to a collision in the 2000 block of North Park Street. A 33-year-old woman ran across North Park Street in an eastbound direction when she collided with a vehicle. The vehicle, driven by a 76-year-old man, was travelling the wrong direction in the northbound lane. The jogger stepped out into the roadway, not expecting a vehicle to be coming from the northerly direction. She sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The investigation into this collision is ongoing.
