Vehicle/pedestrian collision

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred this morning in Dartmouth.

At 7:20 a.m., a 20-year-old man driving a car in the parking lot of Tim Horton’s located at 15 Akerley Boulevard hit a 33-year-old man who was walking in the parking lot. The pedestrian was struck by the bumper and knocked onto the hood of the car. He exchanged information with the driver and subsequently reported the collision to police. He later attended hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No charges are anticipated in this collision.
