Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred this morning in Dartmouth.
At 9:33 a.m., police responded to a car/pedestrian collision at in the 500 block of Portland Street. An 83-year-old woman was crossing the roadway at this location when she was struck by a truck driven by a 42-year old man. The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS for treatment.
Halifax Regional Police Collision Investigation Unit also attended the scene and the matter remains under investigation. Police are asking any witnesses to this incident to contact them at 902-490-5020.
