Two men face charges after a shooting early Sunday morning in Dartmouth.

Approximately ten minutes later, the officers, assisted by other patrol members, arrested two men walking on Roleika Drive, while a K9 team recovered a handgun nearby. Multiple bullet holes were also discovered in the rear of a residence on Roleika Drive but nobody was injured.

Twenty-seven-year-old Dale Lloyd Fowler and 24-year-old Marco Morrell Simmonds each face the following charges:

Section 86(2) CC - Unsafe Storage Contrary to Regulations Section 88 CC - Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose Section 92(1) CC - Possession of a Firearm Knowing it is Unauthorized Section 95 CC - Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition Section 244 (b) - Discharging a Firearm with Intent

Fowler faces an additional charge of possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order. They are both scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.
