(12:40 p.m.)A youth faces charges after a weapons search this weekend in Dartmouth.
On April 19, at 10 p.m., officers assigned to the East Quick Response Unit conducted a search of a residence in the 0-100 block of Renfrew Street. Officers recovered a firearm and ammunition from the residence.
A 16-year-old male youth was arrested without incident. He is facing three weapons-related charges and breach of a court order. He was remanded into custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Youth Court on today.
