At approximately 11:42 pm July 11 members of the Halifax Regional Police Central and East Quick Response units conducted a vehicle stop in the 2400 block of Barrington Street in Halifax. The driver was taken into custody and officers located and seized a loaded firearm. As a result a 16 year-old-male from Dartmouth will be appearing in Halifax Youth Court to face numerous weapons related charges.
