At approximately 2:00 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report from a man that he had been shot inside a residence in the 600-block of Parkland Drive in Halifax. Patrol officers, Emergency Response Team members and K9 members responded to the area and located a 60-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was treated at the scene by EHS paramedics and transported to hospital with injuries that are believed to be life threatening.
Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident and ask that they contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
