Thursday, March 10, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Wedgewood Avenue in Timberlea will be closed to traffic for two days next week while crews hook up underground utilities in the area.
The street will shut down between Eisener Street and Greenwood Avenue starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15. It will remain closed until the work is complete at about 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16. The street will not reopen overnight.
Crews on site will accommodate access for local traffic, as required, and pedestrians will have access throughout the closure. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this closure or the work may cause.
