Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 (Halifax, NS) - The Halifax Regional Municipality is reminding residents that summer weekly green cart collection will wrap up for the season on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
Weekly green cart service is provided to all residents during the months of July and August. Green cart collection will return to the regular two-week green cart/garbage collection schedule on Thursday, Sept. 1.
For regular organics green cart and garbage collection schedules, residents should refer to the ‘What Goes Where’ mobile and web-based app at www.halifax.ca/whatgoeswhere or call 311.
Residents are reminded to place their garbage, recycling and green carts curbside no later than 7 a.m. to ensure pick-up.
