Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will be planer patching in the Windsor Street Exchange in Halifax on Remembrance Day, Nov. 11.

This work will take place during the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday. As per the provincial Remembrance Day Act, workers on site will suspend operations for three minutes starting at 10:59 a.m. in a show of respect for our veterans and those military personnel still serving.

Crews will be working in various locations in the intersection. There will be lane drops in place inbound and motorists should be prepared to merge. This work will result in minor delays throughout the day.

The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and apologizes for working on the holiday; however, with reduced traffic volume, this is an ideal time to complete the repairs with minimal impact on residents.
