A female youth faces charges after she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
At 10:09 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, police responded to Charles P. Allen High School after staff reported that a female student was in possession of drugs. Officers arrived, arrested her and found her to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia.
A 15-year-old female faces charges of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Court at a later date.
