The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a number of streets in Dartmouth will be closed on Saturday, June 15 to accommodate the 22nd annual Manulife Dragon Boat Festival on Lake Banook.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Prince Albert Road will be closed between Hawthorne and Sinclair streets. Banook Avenue and Boathouse Lane will be closed beginning at 7 a.m.
There will be no parking on any of the closed streets. All affected streets are scheduled to reopen by 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The Manulife Dragon Boat Festival is an annual fundraiser for the Nova Scotia Amateur Sport Fund, which helps to increase sport participation by supporting community-based programs throughout Nova Scotia. For more information on the event, visit http://www.dragonboat.halifax.ns.ca/

La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les résidents que certaines rues à Dartmouth seront fermées le samedi 15 juin afin d’accueillir le 22e festival annuel de bateaux‑dragons Manuvie, sur le lac Banook.
À compter de 12 h 1 samedi, le chemin Prince Albert sera fermé entre les rues Hawthorne et Sinclair. L’avenue Banook et la ruelle Boathouse seront fermées à partir de 7 h.
Le stationnement ne sera pas permis sur les rues fermées. Toutes les rues touchées seront rouvertes d’ici 17 h samedi.
Le festival de bateaux‑dragons Manuvie est une activité annuelle de collecte de fonds pour le Nova Scotia Amateur Sport Fund, un fonds qui contribue à une plus grande participation aux sports en appuyant des programmes communautaires partout en Nouvelle‑Écosse.
