Halifax Regional Police responded to 689 calls for service over the weekend. One notable call is as follows:
Police charge two youth with break and enter
On April 27 at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers responded to a break and enter at the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, located at 214 Chain Lake Drive in Halifax. Several units responded and, with assistance from the K9 Unit, both suspects were located and arrested without incident at approximately 11:25 p.m.
A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old are scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial youth court at a later date. Both face charges of break and enter, theft under $5000.00 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00.
