Tuesday, July 5, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will begin today (Tuesday) on Cobequid Road between First Lake Drive and Glendale Avenue.
Crews will be on site today from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and then every day after that from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Work is expected to continue all week. Motorists can expect stop-and-go traffic and lane drops while work is underway.
Drivers should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
