At 11:20 p.m., a woman walking in the area of Barrington and Kent Streets in Halifax was approached by a female suspect who stated she had a knife and proceeded to forcibly grab the victim's purse. A male bystander assisted by grabbing the purse back from the suspect who fled the area on foot. Although the suspect mentioned she had a knife none was seen and no one was injured during the incident. A K-9 unit conducted a tracked but wasn't able to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as a white woman, 20-30-years-old, 5’, stocky build, wearing a blue jacket with the hood up.
