At 6:30 p.m., police responded to a pedestrian/motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Pleasant and Crawford Streets in Dartmouth. A Metro Transit bus travelling south on Pleasant Street had stopped to let two teenage girls off the bus. The girls were crossing Pleasant Street in a crosswalk directly in front of the bus when a vehicle travelling south on Pleasant Street struck one of the girls. The 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital where she was treated and released. The 23-year-old male driver of the vehicle was not injured. At this time, no charges have been laid and the matter is still under investigation.
