On March 30 at 2:50 p.m. officers responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Superstore located at 1075 Barrington Street in Halifax. A 46-year-old man was walking through the parking lot when he was struck at a low speed by a vehicle. The female driver of the vehicle spoke with the victim following the collision to ensure he was uninjured and then left the scene. The man was treated and released at the scene by EHS. This matter remains under investigation at this time.
