The HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section is currently investigating a stabbing that occurred earlier today in Spryfield.
At 1 p.m., officers responded to a call of an injured person in the area of Tartan Avenue and Auburn Avenue. Officers located a 23-year-old man who had been stabbed after an argument with another man on a trail in a wooded area. The victim was taken to hospital by EHS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Officers are looking for a male suspect wearing a mask who fled the area on foot.
Investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are in the early stages of the investigation.
