Drug charges

A man and two women face charges after a drug search last week in Dartmouth.

On April 2, officers assigned to the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 100 block of Pinecrest Drive. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash. The suspects were arrested at the scene without incident.

Twenty-three-year-old Megan Alexa Anstey is facing charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation. She was held in custody and will appear in court today. Twenty-six-year-old Alisha Chaisson and 40-year-old Anthony Beals are also charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. They will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on May 13
