Police investigate robbery

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating after four suspects robbed a man inside a Halifax residence last night.   

At 9:10 p.m., police responded to the 0-100 block of Plateau Crescent for a robbery that occurred earlier in the evening, around 7:30 p.m. A 62-year-old man was home alone when someone knocked at his door. When he opened the door, four men entered the apartment. One of men hit him in the head and demanded cash and prescription drugs. The suspects left the apartment with an undisclosed amount of cash and prescription drugs. The victim was transported to hospital by EHS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. This is not believed to be a random incident.

All four suspects are described as white men in their twenties. They were all wearing hoodies, which covered their faces, one of the hoodies was bright orange.
