On January 30, at 6:04 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a car- pedestrian accident at Lacewood Drive at Fairfax Drive. The driver of the vehicle, a 63-year-old man, stopped at the red light and then turned right. As he turned, he struck a pedestrian in front of his vehicle. He bumped the 53-year-old man who fell, but was uninjured. No charges were laid at the scene, the file remains under investigation.
