On January 6, at 5:27 p.m., police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at the intersection of Bayers Road and Romans Avenue. An 88-year-old man crossing Bayers Road was hit by a vehicle turning right from Romans Avenue onto Bayers Road. He was not injured. A 27-year-old Halifax man was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
