Halifax Regional Police advise motorists that the falling snow is mixing with the wet pavement, creating a heavy slush. As a result, driving is becoming tricky. Motorists are urged to take extra precautions and slow down if they need to be out this evening. Our officers also report that visibility is reduced so please be aware of pedestrians who may be crossing, and pedestrians, please take extra care before crossing streets.
