At approximately 11:15 p.m. on November 15, a 39-year-old man was jogging on the sidewalk in the 2400 block of Robie St. As he ran past a man and woman walking on the sidewalk he accidently made contact with one of them. He stopped and a verbal argument ensued. The woman then produced a knife and threatened the male jogger. The jogger backed away and called police on his cell phone. The man and woman left the area on foot. The woman was located a short distance away and was taken in to custody by police. The knife was also recovered. The 30-year-old woman faces charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, uttering threats and breach of a probation order. Fortunately, the jogger was not injured during the incident.
