The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to participate in two surveys to inform park planning projects in the Bedford West area.
Bedford West Park Planning
Tell us about the park facilities that are important to you and your family as the municipality develops a plan for Bedford West.
Possible new facilities include playgrounds, sports courts, fields and trails. Visit Halifax.ca/bedfordwest to learn more and to take the survey.
Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lakes Trailhead
The municipality is also launching a survey regarding the development and potential impact of a future trailhead in Bedford West. This trailhead would provide access to the municipally-owned lands surrounding Hobsons Lake and Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lake Wilderness area.
Information gathered through this survey will be incorporated into a report to Regional Council. Visit Halifax.ca/westbedfordtrailhead to learn more.

La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax invite les résidents à participer à deux sondages afin d’informer les projets de planification des parcs dans la région de Bedford West.

Parlez-nous des installations du parc qui sont importantes pour vous et votre famille alors que la municipalité élabore un plan pour Bedford West.

Début de sentier de Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lakes
La municipalité lance également un sondage sur le développement et l’impact potentiel d’un futur début de sentier à Bedford West. Ce début de sentier donnerait accès aux terres municipales entourant le lac Hobsons et la zone sauvage de Blue Mountain Birch Cove Lakes.
