Regional Council is the main decision-making body for Halifax Regional Municipality. Find out what’s happening at the meetings and learn how you can participate.
Regional Council meets at City Hall, (1841 Argyle Street, Halifax). You are welcome to attend. Meetings are also broadcasted Tuesdays on EastLink TV and via live webcast. The only time meetings are not open to the public is when private and confidential (“In Camera”) information is being discussed.

Council agendas & reports are available by noon on the Friday prior to the meeting date. Archived video is available by the Friday after the meeting. Minutes are available once approved - usually four weeks after the meeting date.
